Very quick morning update.. we went on a three-hour bus tour of Vienna which included a stop at Schonbrunn Palace. We could have spent the whole day at the palace - it was amazing! The former summer residence of the imperial family is considered to be one of the most beautiful baroque palaces in Europe. It has about 1400 rooms. We weren't allowed to take pictures inside, but here's the view from outside:
Behind the palace is "the garden", which is MASSIVE. A walk through the whole thing would take about a week. It includes a labyrinth and the oldest zoo in the world (founded in 1752.)
Have to go... I'll be back later with more pictures of our other adventures today...
