Today we woke up early and went to Hofburg Imperial Palace. It was the main residence of Austria's ruling family. (Schoenbrunn Palace, where we were yesterday, was their "summer home", even though it's just about a 15 minute drive away.) The other difference between the two is that I can pronounce "Hofburg."
We went on a tour that lasted a few hours, but I can sum it up by saying "They had a lot of dishes."
I thought one of the coolest things was the special way they had of folding the napkins at dinner. This one was reserved for heads of state, and apparently only two people in the world still know how to do it:
There were also amazing animal designs:
We had "lunch" at a cafe there. Nat had coffee, I had a $10 hot chocolate (with cointreau), and we shared a chocolate and cherry torte:
Have to go... more later... and thanks to everyone who's been posting comments. We enjoy reading them!

Dave - you old sap . . . you'll believe anything won't you? Those napkins, well Roxanne says that they fold 'em just like that in Mexico at the resort she was at a few years ago! They even do towels and wash clothes! Two people in the world . . . pleeze!
